Formerly a Timber Frame Hall House, Crewood Hall stands in the middle of 200 acres and has reputably has the longest continuous range of listed agricultural buildings in Cheshire.
Dating to the C16 and modernised in 1638, Crewood is one of the most historic homes in Cheshire and retains many early interior features. Like many timber frame buildings the timber frame has mostly been concealed behind a C19 brick veneer, although parts of the frame are still visible internally and the roof void offers an insight into the historic origins and the incredible skill and ingenuity of the Elizabethan carpenters.
